Most “best web design agency” lists tell you who to hire without explaining how they chose them. We took a different approach. We scored 10 Sydney agencies against seven criteria, checked their published claims against independent evidence where we could find it, and matched each one to the type of project it looks best suited to.
If you’re comparing quotes, you’ll also find current published prices, typical build times, and the questions worth asking before you sign. Prices and ratings change, so confirm them before you commit to anything.
Disclosure: We researched this article on our own, using information that’s publicly available. We have no financial relationship with, and weren’t paid by, any of the ten agencies below.
Quick Comparison of the 10 Best Sydney Web Design Agencies
Short answer: Designpluz and Chromatix suit complex, custom-built projects. Wolf IQ suits ongoing WordPress care. Spark Interact suits branding plus a new site. Small Business Web Designs, St George Web Design, and Website by Designs suit budgets under about $1,500.
| Agency | Best For | Starting Price | Platform / Strength | Sydney Location | Experience | Research Score |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Website by Designs | Niche service businesses | From $699 | WordPress, AI search | Hurlstone Park | 12+ years claimed | 78 |
| Designpluz | Enterprise & custom software | Not published | Software, apps, integrations | Pitt St, CBD | Since 2008 | 76 |
| Wolf IQ | Ongoing WordPress support | Online quote tool | WordPress care plans | Not listed | Since 2014 | 81 |
| Jimmyweb | Tourism & hospitality | Quote only | WordPress, Shopify | York St, CBD | Since 2003 | 74 |
| Chromatix | Conversion-focused B2B | $150–$300/hr guide* | Conversion, integrations | Martin Pl office | Since 2009 | 70 |
| Agenda Web Design | Migration & recovery | Quote only | Joomla, hacked sites | Martin Pl, CBD | AU since 2014 | 51 |
| Small Business Web Designs | Budget option | From $599 | Fixed-price sites | Not listed | Not stated | 58 |
| Spark Interact | Branding + web design | $3,500–$5,500 average | Brand, web, search | Pitt St, CBD | 26 years claimed | 80 |
| Keen To Design | Transparent pricing | $3,000–$9,000+ | WordPress, WooCommerce | Pitt St, CBD | Since 2014 | 66 |
| St George Web Design | Fast tradie websites | $500 one-page | Local SEO | Castlereagh St, CBD | Not stated | 47 |
Prices and details come from each agency’s own website in September 2026. *Chromatix’s figure is its general guide to agency hourly rates, not a quote.
A note on the Research Score: this number reflects how much publicly available evidence backs up each agency’s offer, not a guarantee of service quality once you sign a contract. A lower score often means an agency simply publishes less, not that it does worse work.

How We Chose These Agencies
We scored each business against seven criteria. First, we checked pricing and services against each agency’s own website in September 2026. Then we looked for outside evidence: Clutch and Trustpilot reviews, award listings, and live client sites. We did not treat self-reported awards, project counts, or results as proven.
Two terms we use throughout this guide:
- Agency-reported means the agency published this claim itself, and we could not independently confirm it.
- Independent evidence means we found the claim, or something close to it, on a third-party source such as a review platform, award listing, or a named client’s own website.
How the scores work. We scored each criterion from 1 (weak or no evidence) to 5 (strong evidence), then weighted it.
| Criterion | Weight | What we looked for |
|---|---|---|
| Portfolio and case studies | 20% | Named client work with visible, checkable results. |
| Industry expertise | 15% | Evidence of experience in a specific sector or business type. |
| Technical capability | 15% | The range of platforms, integrations, and custom development on offer. |
| Pricing transparency | 15% | Whether a starting price or package range is published, rather than quote-only. |
| Reviews and social proof | 15% | The volume and credibility of independent reviews we could verify. |
| SEO capability | 10% | Whether SEO, local SEO, or AI-search work is part of the published offer. |
| Ongoing support | 10% | Whether maintenance, care plans, or reporting are built into the service. |
Where an agency had not published something, we scored it low. A low score can mean “not shown,” not “not offered.”
| Agency | Portfolio (20) | Industry (15) | Technical (15) | Pricing (15) | Reviews (15) | SEO (10) | Support (10) | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Website by Designs | 16 | 12 | 10 | 15 | 10 | 8 | 7 | 78 |
| Wolf IQ | 16 | 12 | 9 | 9 | 15 | 10 | 10 | 81 |
| Spark Interact | 16 | 12 | 12 | 12 | 12 | 10 | 6 | 80 |
| Designpluz | 20 | 12 | 15 | 3 | 12 | 8 | 6 | 76 |
| Jimmyweb | 20 | 15 | 12 | 6 | 9 | 6 | 6 | 74 |
| Chromatix | 16 | 9 | 15 | 6 | 12 | 6 | 6 | 70 |
| Keen To Design | 8 | 9 | 9 | 15 | 9 | 8 | 8 | 66 |
| Small Business Web Designs | 12 | 6 | 6 | 15 | 9 | 4 | 6 | 58 |
| Agenda Web Design | 12 | 9 | 12 | 3 | 3 | 6 | 6 | 51 |
| St George Web Design | 4 | 9 | 6 | 15 | 3 | 6 | 4 | 47 |
What the evidence labels mean.
- Strong: Named clients or case studies, plus independent reviews or award listings we could find.
- Moderate: Some named work or outside reviews, but not both, or figures that do not match.
- Limited: Mostly agency-reported claims, with little we could check.
Why this list is not ordered by score. We have not ranked these profiles top to bottom by score, because the right agency depends on your project, not just its rating. Instead, we grouped each one by the type of business it seems best suited to. The score shows how strong an agency’s offer and evidence look. It does not tell you whether that agency is right for you. A $500 site from a lower-scoring provider can still be the best choice for a tradie.
What we did not do. We did not interview clients, request quotes, or test each agency’s service ourselves. Review themes come from public Clutch and Trustpilot profiles, where they existed. That is why every profile below tells you what to check next.
What We Found Comparing These Agencies
A few patterns stood out once all 10 profiles were scored side by side:
- Pricing transparency is uneven. Five of the ten agencies publish a clear starting price or package range (Small Business Web Designs, Spark Interact, Keen To Design, St George Web Design, Website by Designs). The rest work by quote.
- AI-search positioning varies widely. Four agencies explicitly promote AI-search work, but each means something different by it. See the AI search section below for how they differ.
- Evidence strength splits into rough thirds. Five profiles scored Strong, two Moderate, and three Limited, based on how much of each agency’s claims we could verify beyond its own website.
- Support models differ. Wolf IQ and Keen To Design build ongoing care plans into their core offer. Most others focus mainly on the build itself and sell maintenance as a separate add-on.
- The cheapest option is not the least capable one. Providers like St George Web Design and Small Business Web Designs are aimed at a different project type, not a lesser version of the same one.
Website by Designs – Best for Niche Service Businesses
Research Score: 78/100 · Evidence strength: Strong · Best project size: Enterprise to medium

Established: Claims 12+ years of experience.
Starting price: From $699
Key services: Packages at $699, $999, and $1,499+, with the top tier covering online stores; mobile-friendly websites; SEO and AI-search features, including FAQ schema.
Platform: WordPress by default, plus Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, and custom HTML/CSS.
Agency-reported: 50+ projects and 98% client satisfaction. It trades as Vertical Infotech Pty Ltd.
Independent evidence: Its strongest proof is three video testimonials, from Elite Promo Girls, Copy Catchers, and JB Edgelite Signs. Its contact page has shown only a few Google reviews, and several portfolio entries are other web design businesses, so ask for examples from your own industry.
Sources checked: Agency website, video testimonials, Google reviews.
Why we grouped it here: It runs separate pages for specific trades and services, and its packages include FAQ schema, code that labels questions and answers so search engines can read them easily. It states that one-page sites take 3–5 days, 5–7 pages about four weeks, and larger builds up to ten weeks.
Website: wbdesigns.com.au
Phone Number: 0290690299
Address: 13 Starkey St, Hurlstone Park NSW 2193
Things to consider: Check its current Google review count before you commit. Larger projects may need a bigger team than a niche specialist can offer.
Designpluz – Best for Enterprise & Custom Software
Research Score: 76/100 · Evidence strength: Strong · Best project size: Enterprise
Best for: Organisations whose website needs to connect to software, apps, or internal systems. Probably not for: A sole trader who wants a simple five-page site on a small budget.
Established: 2008, according to most of its profiles. One older page says 2014, so confirm this if it matters to you.
Location: Level 17, 123 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000. It also lists offices in Bella Vista, Melbourne, and Brisbane, plus a development office in Coimbatore, India.
Starting price: Not published. Budget transparency is low, and its services point to mid-sized and larger projects.
Key services: Websites and online stores; custom software and mobile apps; AI automation and data analytics; CRM and ERP system links.
Platforms: WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Webflow, and BigCommerce for websites. React, Angular, React Native, .NET, Python, Django, AWS, and Azure for development and hosting.
Agency-reported: 45+ in-house specialists, 1,000+ projects, and about 18 years in business. Its site shows client logos for Myer, Sydney Water, and the NSW Government.
Independent evidence: A Clutch review from a Sydney finance firm describes hiring Designpluz to build a custom client portal and CRM. Trustpilot shows only a handful of reviews, so it is not much to go on.
Sources checked: Agency website, Clutch, Trustpilot.
Why we grouped it here: Designpluz’s work goes beyond building websites into software, apps, and the links between systems, which is rarer among the agencies on this list. A CRM link sends website enquiries straight into your customer database; an ERP link does the same for stock, orders, or finance.
Things to consider: If working with an onshore team matters to you, ask how work is split between Sydney and India. Also ask for a case study close to your project’s size.
Wolf IQ – Best for Ongoing WordPress Support
Research Score: 81/100 · Evidence strength: Strong · Best project size: Small to medium
Best for: Smaller service businesses such as tradies, dentists, coaches, Airbnb hosts, restaurants, and hotels. Probably not for: Larger organisations that need deep links to other business systems.
Established: 2014
Location: No street address on its homepage. Check its contact page or Google Business Profile.
Starting price: No fixed price is published. It offers an instant online quote tool and a website cost guide.
Key services: Website design and WordPress development; managed hosting and care plans; SEO, including AI search; Google Ads and monthly reports.
Platform: WordPress, hosted on Google Cloud.
Agency-reported: 500+ businesses served, 99% of support requests resolved within 24 hours, and 99.9% uptime. Some of its own pages list 250+ clients instead, so treat client counts loosely.
Independent evidence: Reviews on its Clutch profile repeatedly mention fast responses and solid project management. Its site showed a 4.9 out of 5 Google rating when we checked; the recurring theme in reviews is speed of communication, not price.
Sources checked: Agency website, Clutch, Google Business Profile.
Why we grouped it here: Ongoing care sits at the centre of Wolf IQ’s offer, not on the side. Its “Radar” client portal shows support tickets, updates, page speed, and SEO data in one place, which makes a monthly fee easier to judge against what you get.
Website: wolfiq.com.au
Things to consider: Ask what each care plan covers and what it costs per month. Over a few years, support fees can add up to more than the build itself.
Jimmyweb – Best for Tourism & Hospitality
Research Score: 74/100 · Evidence strength: Strong · Best project size: Small to medium
Best for: Tourism, hospitality, and lifestyle brands that want a long-term, personal working relationship. Probably not for: A business that needs large marketing campaigns or enterprise software.
Established: 2003
Location: Suite 607, 83 York St, Sydney NSW 2000
Starting price: Quote only. Budget transparency is low, though it does publish typical timelines.
Key services: WordPress brochure websites; Shopify and WooCommerce online stores; “off-shore rescue” for projects that went wrong elsewhere.
Platform: WordPress for most sites, Shopify for most stores. WooCommerce handles larger custom stores; Symfony and Laravel cover complex web apps.
Agency-reported: Some clients have stayed more than ten years, including Tessuti Fabrics since 2007. It only works with Australian clients.
Independent evidence: Named tourism clients such as Lord Howe Island Tourism Association and Southern Ocean Lodge have live websites you can check yourself. At the time of research, it showed a 4.9 rating from 26 Google reviews.
Sources checked: Agency website, named client websites, Google reviews.
Why we grouped it here: Travel and hospitality work runs through Jimmyweb’s whole portfolio, from island tourism bodies to luxury lodges. Its long client relationships suggest more about service quality than a large review count would. It states that a 5–10 page WordPress site usually takes 4–6 weeks, and a Shopify store 3–6 weeks.
Website: jimmyweb.net
Things to consider: This is a boutique team with limited capacity, so ask who will work on your site day to day. If you also need ongoing marketing, compare its quote against a broader agency’s.
Chromatix – Best for Conversion-Focused B2B Websites
Research Score: 70/100 · Evidence strength: Strong · Best project size: Medium to large
Best for: Growing and B2B businesses that already get traffic and want more leads from it. Probably not for: A new business that only needs a simple brochure site.
Established: 2009
Location: Suite 12/39 Martin Place, Sydney NSW 2000. It also appears in Melbourne agency listings.
Starting price: Not published. Its FAQ states that reputable agencies charge about $150–$300 an hour. Some Clutch reviewers mention projects around $30,000 to $50,000, pointing to a mid-to-upper budget.
Key services: Web design, development, and online stores; API and ERP integrations; custom web apps and customer portals; conversion audits and AI agents.
Platform: WooCommerce, Shopify, and custom builds.
Agency-reported: 80+ awards and mentions, and clients including the Queensland Government, Fonterra, and Swinburne University. In video testimonials, Shore Hire reports a 50% lift in conversions and Rylock Windows reports triple the traffic. Figures for years in business and review counts differ across its own pages, so we have not repeated them.
Independent evidence: Clutch reviewers often praise its project management, communication, and value for money.
Sources checked: Agency website, Clutch.
Why we grouped it here: Conversion rate optimisation, or CRO, is Chromatix’s main pitch. CRO means changing a site so more visitors enquire or buy. Its site also states that clients deal directly with the director rather than an account manager.
Website: chromatix.com.au
Things to consider: Its site states that projects can take from two months to two years. Get a clear timeline and budget in writing before you start.
Agenda Web Design – Best for Website Migration & Recovery
Research Score: 51/100 · Evidence strength: Limited · Best project size: Small to medium
Best for: Businesses on older platforms, especially Joomla, or with a hacked website. Probably not for: Buyers who want plenty of reviews to read before hiring.
Established: Founded in the UK in 2004; operating in Australia since 2014.
Location: Level 57, 25 Martin Place, Sydney NSW 2000. It also lists offices in Perth, Canberra, South Africa, and the UK.
Starting price: Quote only. Budget transparency is low.
Key services: Joomla design, upgrades, and support; website migrations; hacked-website repair; hosting, SEO, Google Ads, and branding.
Platform: Joomla, WordPress, and Shopify, hosted on Australian servers according to its site.
Agency-reported: It says it has worked with Joomla since 2004, when the software was still called Mambo. Case studies include Insightabl, a Salesforce CRM add-on. Its client base leans towards finance and consulting.
Independent evidence: We did not find independent reviews on its homepage or elsewhere in our checks.
Sources checked: Agency website only; no independent review presence found during our research.
Why we grouped it here: Few agencies on this list still offer Joomla upgrades and hacked-site repair. If your old site is breaking, outdated, or compromised, that is a hard skill set to find elsewhere.
Website: agendagroup.net
Things to consider: Ask for recent migration or repair examples. For a brand-new WordPress or Shopify build, compare it against a platform specialist instead.
Small Business Web Designs – Best Budget Option
Research Score: 58/100 · Evidence strength: Moderate · Best project size: Small / micro
Best for: Startups and small businesses that want a simple site fast, at a fixed price. Probably not for: A business that needs a fully custom design or a large online store.
Established: Not stated
Location: No street address on its homepage.
Starting price: From $599
Key services: Fixed-price small business websites; delivery in about 15 business days, or 7 days or less on an express option; a dedicated project manager; logo and business card design add-ons.
Platform: Not stated on its homepage. A 2021 review by Expert Market found it used its own templates and CMS and capped online stores at a small number of products. That may have changed, so ask.
Agency-reported: A 100% money-back guarantee, no lock-in contracts, and all costs upfront. Review and client figures differ across its own pages, so we have not repeated them.
Independent evidence: Its LinkedIn page shows named client sites you can check, including a psychology practice and an electrician. A small number of Trustpilot reviews praise its friendly, quick service, which lines up with its “fast and simple” pitch.
Sources checked: Agency website, LinkedIn, Trustpilot.
Why we grouped it here: Its price, turnaround, and refund policy are all public, which is rare at this end of the market. Its real strength is speed and low risk, not custom design or long-term SEO strategy.
Website: smallbusinesswebdesigns.net.au
Things to consider: Ask exactly what is included: copywriting, SEO, hosting, revisions, and support. Also ask whether you can move the site to another provider later.
Spark Interact – Best for Branding + Web Design
Research Score: 80/100 · Evidence strength: Strong · Best project size: Medium
Best for: Businesses that want branding, a website, and search marketing from one team. Probably not for: A business with a settled brand that only needs a basic site.
Established: Claims 26 years of experience.
Location: Level 5, Suite 501/84 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000
Starting price: States that average projects cost $3,500–$5,500.
Key services: Brand strategy and naming; website design, redesigns, and app development; SEO, paid search ads, social ads, and email marketing.
Platform: WordPress, Shopify, and WooCommerce.
Agency-reported: 1,000+ websites built and 90+ five-star reviews. Listed clients include Epson, NSW Health, and the University of Sydney.
Independent evidence: Spark appears on the 2025 Australian Web Awards results page, where it says it won the Not for Profit category for a carbon farming website. Its Finder Innovation Awards 2026 listing is a People’s Choice nomination, which the public votes on rather than a judged panel.
Sources checked: Agency website, Australian Web Awards, Finder Innovation Awards.
Why we grouped it here: Brand, web, and search sit under one roof at Spark, which helps keep your logo, website, and ads consistent. It also publishes timelines: 3–5 days for one page, about four weeks for 5–7 pages, and up to ten weeks for 15 or more pages.
Website: sparkinteract.com.au
Things to consider: At the time of research, it offered a free website audit. Use it to compare advice, but judge any proposal on its scope, not the free offer.
Keen To Design – Best for Transparent Pricing
Research Score: 66/100 · Evidence strength: Moderate · Best project size: Small to medium
Best for: Small and medium businesses that want clear prices and direct contact with the people building their site. Probably not for: A business that needs custom software or app development.
Established: 2014
Location: Level 17, 123 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000
Starting price: Its FAQ places custom websites at $3,000–$9,000+.
Key services: WordPress and WooCommerce websites; SEO, maintenance, and care plans; redesigns and migrations, including redirects, which send old page links to new ones so you keep your Google traffic.
Platform: WordPress and WooCommerce.
Agency-reported: You deal directly with designers and developers rather than a salesperson, with no hard sell.
Independent evidence: Its site showed 5 out of 5 from 27 Google reviews at the time of research. We found little review activity elsewhere, so Google is the main place to check.
Sources checked: Agency website, Google reviews.
Why we grouped it here: It publishes a packages page and a plain price guide, which is unusual at its price point. Custom sites cost $3,000–$9,000+, templates $200–$500+, and website builder projects $0–$300+. That helps you set a budget before the first call.
Website: keentodesign.com.au
Things to consider: We found few named case studies. Ask for examples in your industry, and compare what each package includes, not just the headline price.
St George Web Design – Best for Tradies Needing a Fast Website
Research Score: 47/100 · Evidence strength: Limited · Best project size: Micro
Best for: Tradies and sole traders who need a simple enquiry site live fast and cheaply. Probably not for: A business that needs strategy, custom features, or proof of past results before buying.
Established: Not stated
Location: Its Sydney page lists Level 7/169 Castlereagh St, Sydney NSW 2000. Its About page says it is based in Hurstville.
Starting price: $500 for a one-page website.
Key services: One-page sites, with a claimed one-business-day build; multi-page sites, up to eight pages, from $1,000; custom builds with online stores or bookings from $5,000; local SEO setup.
Platform: Its local SEO setup covers Core Web Vitals and Google Business Profile alignment.
Agency-reported: 50+ local sites launched. You own your domain, hosting, and files, with no lock-in contract.
Independent evidence: Very little. Its own site describes its portfolio examples as illustrative. Its main testimonial and case study do not name the client, and we found only a handful of third-party reviews.
Sources checked: Agency website; limited third-party review presence found.
Why we grouped it here: No other agency here lists a one-day, $500 site. It works more like a freelancer than an agency, without the overhead, and it is the cheapest offer in this guide.
Website: stgeorgewebdesign.com.au
Things to consider: Before you pay, ask for links to three live sites built for real clients.
How Much Does Web Design Cost in Sydney?
A basic template or freelance website usually costs about $500–$1,500. A custom small business website usually costs $3,000–$9,000+. Complex builds with online stores or system links start around $5,000. Enterprise projects cost considerably more.
A sensible starting budget by project type, rather than by agency
| Your project | Sensible starting budget |
|---|---|
| One-page tradie or sole-trader site | $500–$1,500 |
| 5–10 page business site | $3,000–$9,000+ |
| Online store | $5,000+ |
| CRM or system integration project | Custom quote |
| Enterprise platform | Custom quote |
What moves the price up or down? Page count, design complexity, copywriting and photos, online store features, CRM or ERP links, custom features, SEO, your CMS, hosting, migration, and ongoing support.
Do not forget running costs. Most agencies here sell maintenance plans, but few publish a monthly price. Ask for it upfront.
How Long Does It Take to Build a Website?
A one-page website can take 1–5 days. A typical 5–10 page website takes around 4–6 weeks. Larger sites take about ten weeks or longer. Enterprise projects can run for months or even years.
| Website Type | Approximate Timeframe |
|---|---|
| One-page website | 1–5 days |
| 5–10 page website | Around 4–6 weeks |
| Larger or complex website | Around 10 weeks or longer |
| Enterprise or custom project | Several months to potentially years |
These are build times, not the full time from your first call to launch, which is often longer. Projects usually slow down because of content that is not ready, rounds of design changes, integrations that turn out harder than expected, too many people signing off, moving content from an old site, or slow replies from the client. Treat any timeline as an estimate, not a promise.
How to Choose the Right Agency for Your Project
Start with your project, not the agency. A plumber who needs five pages and a quote form has very different needs from a finance firm linking its site to a CRM.
Before you accept any proposal, ask these ten questions:
- Have you built websites for businesses like mine?
- Which platform would you recommend, and why?
- What exactly is included in the quote?
- Who will actually build my website?
- Will I own my domain, website, and files?
- Is SEO included?
- Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
- How long will the project take?
- What happens if I need changes after launch?
- Can you show me relevant and genuine case studies?
A warning about cheap quotes: do not choose on price alone. To compare quotes fairly, line them up on the same list: pages, features, content, SEO, hosting, support, and who owns what. Gaps in one quote often explain a lower price elsewhere.
Freelance Web Designer vs Agency: Which Is Better?
Neither option suits everyone. A freelancer often works well for a simple, low-budget website. An agency usually suits bigger projects that need several skills and ongoing support.
| Feature | Freelancer | Agency |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Often lower (lower overheads) | Usually higher |
| Communication | Direct with the builder | More people involved |
| Skills | One person, fewer specialties | Strategy, design, development, SEO |
| Speed | Often faster for simple sites | Can be slower, but suits large projects |
| Support | Depends on one person | Usually a team behind it |
On this list, St George Web Design works like a freelancer, while Designpluz and Chromatix operate as full agencies. For complex work, a freelancer may need to bring in other contractors anyway.
WordPress vs Shopify for Small Business
WordPress suits most business websites, especially those with a lot of content or custom features. Most agencies in this guide use it by default.
Shopify suits online stores, product catalogues, and businesses where selling online comes first.
Website builders such as Wix and Squarespace suit very small businesses and simple sites you want to update yourself. There is no single winner here. A tradie with five pages and a boutique store selling 300 products need different tools.
Do Sydney Agencies Build for AI Search?
Some do. Four of the agencies in this guide promote AI-search work, often called GEO. GEO is the broader practice of making a brand, its content, and its expertise easier for generative AI tools and answer engines to understand and surface, not a single technical fix.
They do not all mean the same thing by it:
- Website by Designs builds FAQ schema directly into its packages, which suits its smaller, template-based sites more than a bespoke build would need.
- Spark Interact folds AI search into its broader search marketing service, alongside paid ads and SEO.
- Designpluz’s AI work leans towards automation inside business systems. That is useful, but it is a different discipline from AI-search visibility, and its site does not treat the two as the same thing.
- Wolf IQ puts AI-search recommendations in its main headline and sells SEO with monthly reporting, which fits its wider focus on ongoing account management.
None of the four published results that measure AI-search visibility during our research, so ask any agency how it would track success.
No one can guarantee your business will appear in ChatGPT, and FAQ schema alone will not do it either. Schema helps search engines understand your content, but it is not an on-off switch. AI visibility depends on a wider mix of factors: helpful original content, mentions on other trusted websites, clear site structure and useful FAQs, technical SEO that lets search engines crawl and read your pages, and the same business details listed consistently across the web.

Expect a good quote to list the pages, design rounds, features, content, SEO setup, hosting, training, and support. If something is not listed, assume it costs extra.
Does website design include SEO?
Usually, only basic SEO is included, such as page titles, mobile responsiveness, and basic technical setup. Ongoing SEO, content creation, and link building are usually separate services.
How do I compare agencies fairly?
Start by shortlisting two or three agencies that suit your project type. Ask each one the same questions, then compare their quotes line by line and check recent reviews on Google or Clutch.
What should I give my web designer before we start?
Have your logo, brand colours, page text, photos, and a list of sites you like ready to go, along with your domain and hosting logins. Ready content is the easiest way to avoid delays.
How do I make sure my website shows up in AI search tools like ChatGPT?
There is no guaranteed switch to flip. Focus on useful original content, consistent business details, technical SEO, a clear page structure, real expertise, helpful FAQs, and mentions on other trusted websites.
